Traffic & Media Assistant

DESCRIPTION
The Traffic & Media Assistant would support both Agency’s Production and Media Departments in order to 1.) Prioritize the Agency’s overall daily workflow utilizing the online trafficking system, and 2.) Streamline execution of approved media campaigns for various broadcast, digital and print media outlets.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in an Agency environment with working knowledge of trafficking process
  • Highly developed organizational skills
  • Detail oriented, thorough, accurate
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment and work well under pressure of constant deadlines
  • Committed to working in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, most notably Excel

RESPONSIBILITITES

  • Daily trafficking of assignments through the Agency; Tracking priority deadlines and alerting Agency management when deadlines are in jeopardy
  • Issuing Purchase Orders to Vendors
  • Updating traffic report based on input from Agency management
  • Sending insertion orders to various media outlets based on approved media authorizations
  • Following up and confirming media outlets’ receipt of insertion orders as well as receipt of creative materials upon deadline
  • Opening approved media jobs utilizing the Agency’s online trafficking system
  • Confirming specifications and trafficking jobs to Account Management for direction
  • Researching new markets and media opportunities as directed and as time allows
  • Assist in pulling Client tear sheets and keeping Agency’s media files organized
  • Provide additional organizational support as needed
