Where: At the edge of the Tampa Riverwalk, bordered by South Ashley Drive and the Hillsborough River in Downtown Tampa
This joint venture of Feldman Equities, LLC and Tower Realty Partners has acquired the long-vacant 1.47-acre site, offering over 350 lineal feet of adjacent Hillsborough River waterfront, extensive views and incredible proximity to the core high-rise district of downtown. The plans for Riverwalk Tower feature a 52-story office, retail and residential building – the first new office building constructed in downtown Tampa since 1992. The building is now pre-leasing office and retail space, with more project details still being finalized. United Landmark Associates is pleased to handle the marketing for this landmark Tampa project.
Where: Southwest corner of Kennedy Boulevard and the western side of the Hillsborough River
A 6.25-acre development is slated to include residences, a hotel, along with retail and office space. Developed by John Avlon, president of Hillsborough River Realty Co., the project would connect the riverside to the city center with its high-rise buildings.
Tampa Tribune Building
Where: 202 S. Parker Street in downtown Tampa
Formerly the headquarters of the Tampa Tribune, the building is now being turned into an 8-story apartment complex with 400 units, thanks to developer Related Group. Targeting Millennials and graduate students in the area, the units will average 975 square feet, and offer building amenities like an infinity-edge riverfront pool, sunken bar and club lounge. The architect Arquitectonica has designed the building to look like a capital letter E, with three wings and courtyards in between, all overlooking the sparkling Hillsborough River.
Hyde Park Village
Where: Retail, restaurant and residential area along Swann Avenue in South Tampa
WS Development has set out to rejuvenate Hyde Park Village and create an urban retail district – without taking away from what people know and love about the historic Village. The walkable outdoor retail and restaurant venue welcomed many new permanent residents over the last year, along with WS Development’s work to add new traffic lights, level thoroughfares, update crosswalks and on-street parking, add new awnings and facades and enhance landscaping.
Cypress Creek Town Center
Where: Pasco County across from Tampa Premium Outlets, at the intersection of I-75 and State Road 56
Sierra Properties are the developers of Cypress Creek Town Center, an approximately 500-acre mixed-use project in Wesley Chapel. Nearly 300,000 square feet of retail space are expected to be under construction at Cypress Creek Town Center by summer 2017, complementing the handful of popular dining choices that are already under construction there and open across the street. There is also expected to be a Hyatt Place Hotel & Conference Center on SR 56, which is a huge step for this rapidly expanding area.
Raymond James Financial Pasco Campus
Where: Pasco County at State Road 56, east of the Shoppes at Wiregrass retail development
To handle the overflow growth from their headquarters in the Carillon office park in St. Petersburg, Raymond James Financial closed on this long-anticipated 65-acre property that will be home to a projected 750 jobs. The prospect of a Fortune 500 company’s presence in Pasco County is already garnering positive attention for the burgeoning area.
